buckingfugs started the evening someone tried to extort us over a missing DMARC record. A friendly-looking email became a “pay me or I go public” shakedown in under an hour — over one line of DNS that takes five minutes and zero dollars to fix.

That's the racket: shipping fast is great until a lowlife runs a free scanner against your app, screenshots whatever it spits out, and fires off a scary invoice. Most of it isn't a real vulnerability — it's missing config. Hygiene. The boring stuff.

So we made the boring stuff a one-click, five-dollar report.
